The Sr. Director - Naming Strategy & Chief of Staff develops and implements the strategic plans and objectives for the function in alignment with the corporate strategy through oversight of the execution of that strategy across Naming Services. This role leads initiatives to analyze complex business and policy problems and offers data driven solutions in support of managing our material agreements. Key responsibilities: • Serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Naming executive leadership to drive Naming strategic business plan based on understanding Verisign corporate strategy, goals and objectives. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. • Supports Head of Naming Services and Naming leadership in executing activities and projects. Leads efforts to collect, analyze, summarize and present critical information that will help drive executive decision making. Enables timely delivery of objectives and action items ensuring effective execution of the business priorities. Formulates approaches that achieve desired business objectives. • As Naming Chief of Staff monitors workflow, supports confidential projects and manages administrative functions, including but not limited to Naming Services Strategic Plan, project management measurements and monthly and quarterly operating reviews. Creates executive summary and briefs senior leadership as required on status of specific issues and projects. • Collaborates with colleagues in Naming as well as supports cross-functional activities from finance, technology services, marketing, product, HR and legal as necessary, ensuring completion of initiatives and deliverables on schedule and in alignment with business needs. Qualifications: • 4-year Bachelors degree related to Statistics and Analytics, or equivalent work experience, is required; a Graduate degree related to Statistics and Analytics is preferred • 12 years of progressively responsible, relevant business experience • At least 4 years of experience managing others and/or significant cross functional engagements • Requires an in-depth knowledge of the industry in order to resolve complex issues in alignment with Verisign strategies and goals • Solid analytical skills and the ability to deliver actionable recommendations based on analysis • Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to gather input and develop recommendations • Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent organizational skills • Strong attention to detail and the ability to think creatively • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion and diplomacy This position is based in our Reston, Virginia office and offers a hybrid work schedule. The pay range for this role is $199,100-$269,300. The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
