We are seeking a talented Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our innovative IT team in a contract for our client. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with extensive experience in crafting solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This position involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable applications, collaborating with stakeholders, and integrating various platforms and tools. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the Power Platform ecosystem, related technologies, and agile development practices. Applicants with relevant experience may be considered for remote work from any city. (Third-party agencies or vendors are not eligible to represent candidates for this role) Key Responsibilities Build and implement high-quality solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Partner with stakeholders to evaluate business needs and create streamlined, effective workflow solutions. Enhance and maintain existing Power Platform applications to align with evolving organizational goals. Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning. Stay current with advancements and new features in the Power Platform ecosystem. Deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and compliant with company standards and industry best practices. Lead by example, showcasing best practices in Power Platform design and development. Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the team updated on Power Platform capabilities. Provide one-on-one guidance to junior developers, helping them navigate technical challenges and enhance their skills. Cultivate a supportive environment that encourages experimentation and open dialogue. Your expertise will be essential in developing a skilled, innovative, and cohesive development team. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform. In-depth knowledge of Power Platform architecture, including Dataverse and connectors. Proficiency with related technologies such as Office 365, Azure Services, and SharePoint. Familiarity with SQL and programming languages like JavaScript and C#. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Skills Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or related areas. Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular. Familiarity with AI Builder and Power Virtual Agents.
