Maintain and troubleshoot 3M servers supporting 3M 360 Encompass, analyze and improve HIM workflows and Epic EHR processes, manage system configurations and access, and collaborate with clinical and IT teams.
Experience with 3M 360 Encompass system administration, Epic EHR workflows, HL7 messaging troubleshooting, clinical workflow analysis, and strong communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot 3M servers, specifically supporting the 3M 360 Encompass system. Monitor system performance, apply patches and updates, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliable functionality. Conduct comprehensive analysis of Health Information Management (HIM) workflows and Epic EHR processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Design and implement workflow solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. Configure user groups, manage access rights, and maintain worklists as part of system setup and ongoing administration. Generate and analyze detailed system administration reports, resolve reporting errors, and troubleshoot HL7 messaging issues to optimize clinical data flow and system performance. Collaborate closely with clinical staff, IT teams, and other stakeholders to support system enhancements and operational needs. Required Qualifications Proven experience with 3M 360 Encompass system administration and server maintenance. Strong understanding of Epic EHR workflows and healthcare information management processes. Experience troubleshooting HL7 messaging and resolving integration issues. Ability to analyze clinical workflows and design technology-driven solutions for process improvement. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across clinical and technical teams.
