Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview Veracity Electric is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to manage material sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination for electrical construction projects. This role ensures projects remain on schedule and within budget by securing materials and equipment efficiently. Core Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing Source, price, and purchase electrical materials, equipment, and supplies Issue and manage purchase orders aligned with project budgets and schedules Coordinate closely with project managers and field leadership on material needs Track deliveries, backorders, and long-lead items to prevent project delays Expedite orders and resolve supplier issues as needed Vendor & Cost Management Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate pricing when applicable Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and delivery confirmations Coordinate with accounting on cost coding and reconciliation Systems, Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation Ensure compliance with Veracity Electric’s purchasing policies Update project teams on order status, lead times, and delivery schedules Support closeout documentation related to procurement Qualifications 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience in electrical or construction environments Strong understanding of electrical materials, suppliers, and lead times Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting Proficiency with procurement, ERP, or project management systems Preferred Experience with commercial or industrial electrical contractors Familiarity with material takeoffs and project schedules
