POSITION SUMMARY The Account Manager role is designed to be a one-stop-shop to ensure order fulfillment, prompt and professional communication, along with accuracy in orders and invoicing, as well as problem-solving as issues arise for our customers. Will require occasional work from home and after regular business hours to handle issues as they arise. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION Ownership for multiple customers both within and external to the facility in handling orders from receipt to billing/invoicing and all points in between. Daily communication with customers via email, phone, or in person Ensures data accuracy for order information in 3PL Coordinates communication between Operations and customer for orders, issues, and changes. Coordination with Sales, Facility Management, and Operations Supervisor to ensure successful launch and successful structure for efficient service. Customer reporting of KPIs, both internal and external for customer performance Regular and predictable attendance Addressing issues in professional and courteous manner, both internal and external Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (preferred) 2+ years of Customer-Facing experience PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (AND/OR) 2+ years experience REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.) Microsoft office Proficient in excel and outlook 3PL experience is a plus Fluent reading and writing English required Hazmat shipper certification a plus PREFERRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.) Ability to Multi-task Team-oriented Strong customer service skills Communication, both verbal and electronic, in a professional manner Excellent Organizational Skills Excellent Problem-Solving Skills Continuous-improvement Mindset Lean Six Sigma methodology PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for assessing hazmat shipments.
