Job description VENTS-US -HVAC Distribution Company- is seeking to hire an experienced individual to positively impact our warehouse Logistics Operations. Our ideal candidate has management experience and is comfortable in a hands-on warehouse environment. VENTS-US is the North American division of Ventilation Systems JSC, a worldwide leader of ventilation product manufacturer based in Europe. VENTS-US provides complete sales service from its Cincinnati based headquarters for all markets including retail and professional. The main duties include coordinating all shipping, receiving, inventory control and logistics operation. To succeed in this role you should have the ability to perform to a high level of accuracy, and are organized and hard-working. This role is part of a 3-person operations team that shares equal authority and responsibility for managing the warehouse, requiring a highly collaborative and proactive problem-solving approach. Job Responsibilities: • Collaborate as part of a 3-person leadership team to collectively manage and execute all warehouse operations, ensuring seamless workflow and shared accountability. • Utilizing warehouse management systems including internal inventory system, Fishbowl, UPS WorldShip, FedEx shipping and Microsoft Office • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system • Shipping, receiving, inventory management, and returns • A time focused shipment of products to required destinations based on assigned priorities • Logistical planning and implementation • Inbound and outbound shipment management • Inventory control including cycle counts, warranty, and returns processing • Helping to resolve inventory issues and/or discrepancies • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and transport companies • Keep a clean, organized and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. Knowledge, Skill, and Ability: • Standup Forklift experience is a must • Advanced Microsoft Office, -Excel, -Outlook • Strong logistics and analytical skills • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage workload efficiently • Problem-solving attitude • Self-motivated and satisfied with a job well done • Experience with standup electric forklifts and pallet jacks • Willingness/ability to work in a warehouse environment • Ability to lift at least 70 lbs.
