VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring a Senior Program Manager for Conveyor Systems to work in Troy, MI. You will be responsible for end-to-end execution of conveyor system projects in an industrial environment. Majority of the time will be spent in the Detroit area, long stretches will be onsite in IL and OH at the plant work site. POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Onsite. Long Term Contract (8 months or more) that can lead to a direct hire position at project end. May consider direct hire for the correct individual. Onsite work environment. Pay is open based on degree and years of relevant work experience. Requirements of the Senior Program Manager Conveyor Systems: • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred (BSME). • Automative engineering / program management experience needed. • Minimum 10 years knowledge and experience with Automotive Assembly Systems. • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues that are directly related to conveyor design and functionality. • Highly analytical and detail-oriented individual. • Strong communication and organizational skills are required. • Technical: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including MS Project. Capable of working with multiple manufacturing software and databases. • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Duties of the Senior Program Manager Conveyor Systems: • Oversee the activities of the support team, conveyor suppliers, and interface with management personnel. • Direct the maintenance of the plant layout for conveyor activities. • Preparing and updating the Master Timing plan for all Assembly activities. • Provide cross functional leadership by coordinating with Design Engineers, Controls, Manufacturing/fabrication teams, Installation Crews, Suppliers & Vendors, Project Managers and Stakeholders. • Help maintain all scheduled plant, contractor, and OEM activities. • Responsible for assisting with the preparation of minutes, reports, presentations, and storage of program documentation within. • Track costs, manage change orders. Identify bottlenecks, handle installation delays, provide milestone reviews, manage exceptions during launch. • Assist corporate and plant staff with Early Equipment Management requirements for new model equipment documentation and installation for new model in Assembly.
