A rapidly growing telecommunications engineering team is expanding and seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Fiber Network Design Engineer. Our mission is to deliver high-quality fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) design solutions that help close the digital divide and shape reliable, future-proof networks. Key Responsibilities: • Develop preliminary route designs and cost estimates. • Coordinate site visits and data collection with fielding teams. • Perform detailed OSP designs in strict compliance with customer standards. • Prepare and deliver construction-ready design packages. • Maintain high quality control scores across assigned projects. • Process revisions, cost changes, and as-built redlines to ensure accurate records. • Support additional project tasks to drive overall success. Requirements: • Strong knowledge of fiber optic design standards and industry best practices. • Hands-on experience with ARCGIS and field data collection tools. • Solid understanding of FTTH network architecture. • 3+ years of experience in OSP Design or related telecom engineering roles. • Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and construction drawings. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Smartsheet. • Skilled with GIS-based design software, particularly ARCGIS.
