Job Title: MDM Support Engineer Job Type: Long-Term Contract Job Location: United States Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MDM (Mobile Device Management) Support Engineer to support and maintain enterprise mobile device environments across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing MDM platforms to ensure secure and efficient mobile device operations. Key Responsibilities: • Provide day-to-day support for enterprise MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, AirWatch, MobileIron, JAMF, etc.). • Configure and manage mobile device policies, profiles, compliance rules, and security settings. • Troubleshoot issues related to device enrollment, application deployment, connectivity, and security compliance. • Support iOS, Android, and Windows devices within a corporate environment. • Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce mobile security policies and standards. • Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance of MDM infrastructure. • Monitor device compliance and generate reports for audit and compliance purposes. • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support and assist end users with mobility-related technical issues. • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise MDM solutions. • Hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch), MobileIron, or JAMF. • Strong knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows). • Understanding of mobile security concepts (MFA, conditional access, encryption, VPN, certificates). • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and identity management. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash). • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi). • ITIL certification or experience working in IT service management environments. • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, JAMF). Work Environment: • May require occasional after-hours support. • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
