Location: Remote HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: The Senior UI/UX Developer is responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience across various digital platforms. You will combine your design skills and technical expertise to develop responsive, user-friendly applications. Your role involves collaboration with designers, developers and key stakeholders to translate user requirements into interactive and functional designs. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Design and implement high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Translate UI/UX designs into functional front-end code and develop responsive designs that work across different devices. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Work closely with developers and other key stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs. Participate in user research and testing to gather feedback and improve designs. Lead design reviews, providing constructive feedback and contribute to the development of UI/UX design standards and guidelines. Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, user flows and style guides. Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools and technologies. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Excellent visual design skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Solid understanding of front-end development and web technologies. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Incorporate customer-centric values and SPIRIT principles into the company's mission, vision, and core values. Education, Certification and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Graphic Design or related field strongly preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development. Proven experience with design tools and front-end technologies. Proven success to effectively communicate (listening, writing and verbal) across all levels of an organization. Proficient skills with Microsoft Office and learning new systems/technology with understanding some work is processed manually. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending as necessary.
