Join a growing systems integrator where your automation expertise directly impacts major oil & gas and chemical processing projects across the Gulf Coast. • Senior Control Systems Engineer * • Deer Park, TX * • $125-140,000 * A systems integrator in Texas (150+ employees across 3 offices) is hiring a Senior Control Systems Engineer. The company has delivered more than 400 automation projects over the last 10 years in oil & gas, chemical processing, and manufacturing. This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site in Deer Park, TX. What you'll do • Design and implement process control and safety instrumented systems (SIS) for new and existing facilities • Configure and commission DCS systems (mainly Emerson DeltaV and Honeywell) • Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and occasionally Schneider Electric) • Support FATs, SATs, and site commissioning What you'll bring • 7+ years in industrial control or automation engineering • Hands-on experience with DeltaV, Honeywell PKS, and at least one major PLC platform • Exposure to SIS lifecycle (design, SIL verification, testing) • Ability to interpret P&IDs, control narratives, and loop drawings • Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience) What's on offer • Salary typically ranges from $125,000 to $140,000 depending on experience • 401(k), medical coverage, and profit-sharing bonus • The team includes 20 control engineers; average tenure 6 years About the company The company supports midstream, refining, and chemical clients across the Gulf Coast.
