Overview As the Data Conversion Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a team of data conversion engineers while driving the strategic direction of data conversion services. This role combines people management, operational excellence, and technical leadership to deliver scalable data conversion solutions. You will be responsible for building team capabilities, optimizing processes, managing resource allocation across projects, and ensuring the delivery of data conversion products and services that exceed client expectations and build trust in our solutions. Requirements: • Lead people management activities including hiring, performance management, career development, and succession planning • Manage project portfolio and strategically allocate engineers across multiple data conversion initiatives • Develop and implement strategies to scale team output through process improvements, automation, and tooling enhancements • Build and maintain a data conversion framework that establishes your team as trusted advisors to clients • Oversee the complete lifecycle of data conversion projects from initial scoping through post-migration support • Establish quality assurance processes and standards for data conversion deliverables • Collaborate with sales and client success teams to scope projects and set realistic expectations • Drive technical direction while empowering team leads to handle day-to-day technical decisions • Manage team budget, capacity planning, and resource forecasting • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence • Represent the data conversion team in leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 4+ years of experience in data conversion, data migration, or ETL processes • 4+ years of people management experience, preferably leading technical teams • Proven track record of scaling team capabilities and improving operational efficiency • Strong understanding of data migration tools, techniques, and best practices • Experience with project portfolio management and resource allocation • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills • Strategic thinking ability with a focus on process improvement and automation • Strong business acumen and ability to align technical solutions with business objectives Our Value Prop to Employees • Our eNPS is +37!
