JOB SUMMARY The Shipping Lead supports the Outbound Traffic Coordinator with prepping outbound loads across multiple facilities. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Ability to operate inventory warehouse management system effectively, including, but not limited to, creating outbounds, scanning finished goods, and using item locator • Ensure all information on ship orders match shipping labels • Apply any shipping labels or placards required to finished goods prior to loading • Scan finished goods using the correct ship order and outbound • Ensure finished goods are safely and efficiently loaded onto trucks • Use web-based quality management system to perform quality inspections • Ensure accuracy of all shipping documents prior to providing to external truck drivers • Operate forklift as needed • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules • Ability to work a flexible schedule if necessary • Attendance is an essential function of the role OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITIES • Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Required • High School Diploma or equivalent • 6 months transferrable shipping experience • Must have good English written and verbal communication skills • Good arithmetic skills are required • General proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred • Bilingual in English and Spanish • Ability to operate a forklift
