Portfolio & Operations Manager Our client is seeking a Portfolio & Operations Manager to lead operational initiatives, enhance efficiency, and strengthen communication across a cross-functional team. This role plays a key part in driving process improvement, managing financial operations, and supporting strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, business operations expertise, and the ability to navigate complex corporate environments with clarity and confidence. This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon. Portfolio & Operations Manager Responsibilities • Lead onboarding to systems, tools, and workflows, assessing opportunities for improvement and efficiency during the initial phase of the project. • Streamline operational processes and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and transparency across teams. • Drive continuous improvement efforts through change management strategies that support evolving business needs. • Create compelling executive presentations and reports using PowerPoint to visualize performance metrics and operational progress. • Build dashboards and data visualizations in Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar tools to inform leadership decisions. • Manage contract lifecycles, including renewals and vendor coordination, ensuring timely payment processing and compliance. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in alignment with organizational goals. • Partner closely with leadership and cross-functional peers to maintain alignment and deliver operational excellence. Portfolio & Operations Manager Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required. • Minimum 8–9 years of experience in operations management or a related discipline. • Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively within a matrixed corporate environment. • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint for executive-level storytelling and visual communication. • Hands-on experience with Airtable and/or Smartsheet for operational tracking and reporting. • Solid financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and planning. • Demonstrated success in documenting SOPs and driving process efficiency. • Experience managing vendors or supporting corporate safety/security functions preferred. • PMP certification is a plus but not required.
