Internal Communications Specialist Our client is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to support global employee communications through compelling editorial content, thoughtful channel strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is ideal for a polished communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a strong writing foundation, and understands how to engage internal audiences across platforms and regions. This role is a 6-month contract and candidates will work a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon. Internal Communications Specialist Responsibilities • Develop and deliver clear, engaging written content for internal employee channels, including newsletters, intranet features, event communications, and leadership messaging. • Manage and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-coordinated communications across multiple internal platforms. • Partner with communications teammates and cross-functional stakeholders to shape content strategy and align messaging for diverse employee audiences. • Support the planning and execution of internal events, including coordination of messaging, presentations, and supporting materials. • Create and track engagement metrics to assess content performance and inform continuous improvement. • Contribute to process improvements, toolkits, and best practices that support consistent and effective internal communications across regions. Internal Communications Specialist Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required. • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in internal communications, editorial, or content-focused roles. • Demonstrated excellence in writing, editing, and storytelling, with strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in Keynote and comfort creating polished presentation materials. • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency and accountability. • Experience communicating through internal platforms and tailoring messages for different employee audiences. • Familiarity with email or campaign tools (such as Campaign Monitor) and basic engagement analytics. • Professional, proactive, and self-directed work style with strong collaboration skills. • Writing samples will be required.
