Full Description

Customer Care - Demand Planner Start your professional journey here! Share our taste for life! Samen met jou willen we onze missie waarmaken. We waarderen jou als persoon en ondersteunen je op professionele pad, terwijl we samen bouwen aan de toekomst. Sluit je aan bij onze big little family and help us create products that people love. Your role: You are responsible for collecting information about expected sales (regular sales, promotions, listings and clean-ups) from our sales teams, customers and the Customer Care team. You analyze this data in combination with historical data to determine future demand and to draw up the demand forecast as accurately as possible. In this way, you ensure that the right supply and inventory levels are guaranteed and that the production sites can make an efficient and reliable plan. This way you contribute to achieving on-time in full (OTIF) deliveries and SLA agreements towards customers, while at the same time helping to reduce costs due to unsold inventory and food waste. Your main responsibilities: Organizing and leading demand review meetings: You discuss short-term forecasts, promotions, introductions, delistings and supply issues with our key account managers. For the long-term forecast, discuss the trends and keep an eye on the opportunities and risks. This way, a GAP analysis (vs budget, LE) can be made at all times. Based on the meeting, adjust the forecast with a critical eye. Maintaining statistical forecasts: You manage and enrich the forecasts in Anaplan and APO with market and promotion information. Contact with customers and sales teams: You proactively talk to customers and sales teams about unexpected sales patterns. You collect and evaluate sales expectations through collaborative forecasting and integrate these into the forecast. In addition, you discuss promotional mechanisms to better understand the impact of promotions on customer demand and correctly translate this into the forecast. Analyzing KPIs within demand planning: You analyze the results and report them to relevant stakeholders. Alignment of demand and inventory planning: You work closely with production sites and purchasing teams to timely translate changes in demand, promotions and new customer requests into the plan. In addition, you support Customer Care colleagues in determining the date of possible product availability. Management of launches and phase-outs: You support commercial and category teams with product introductions and phase-outs. Backup for colleagues: You pick up tasks from absent Customer Care Demand Planners. What's in it for you? A great work experience: We offer you an exciting job in an international company with a dynamic, driven and ambitious culture and a collegial atmosphere. A people-oriented organization: You get flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home 50% of the time. We also invite you to participate in our sports and wellness activities! Easily accessible: Our headquarters are close to a bus stop and highway exits. If you prefer to cycle, lease a bike at Vandemoortele! Lots of goodies: You can start your day with a delicious croissant fresh from the oven and enjoy delicious food in our company restaurant. In our cozy coffee corners, you will find healthy fruit baskets to enjoy during your break. Are you the one we're looking for? You have a master's degree in an economic field. Experience in an analytical role (demand planning, supply planning, forecasting...) is a strong advantage. You have analytical skills for effective data analysis. You are a strong communicator and work well with different stakeholders. You have a detail-oriented, critical and proactive work attitude and propose requested and unsolicited improvements. You are a team player with a hands-on approach, but can also work excellently independently, except in the most complex situations. You are eager to learn and want to keep growing. You are fluent in Dutch and English, and have sufficient knowledge of French. You are proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP R/3 and APO is a plus, but not a must. Join us in making sweet memories! Send us your CV and a convincing cover letter (optional). For questions or additional information, you can contact us: joselien.neyt@vandemoortele.com
