Description We are seeking an Affordable Compliance Specialist to join our team. The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations, reviewing applications, and maintaining accurate records. They will report to the Compliance Director. We will consider remote applications within the US for this position. Responsibilities: • Review and process application for affordable housing • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements • Maintain accurate and up to date records • Conduct audits and inspections as required • Provide training and support to staff on compliance matters • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures Van Rooy is dedicated to quality housing, serving the needs of owners and residents with integrity, emphasizing continual improvement and associate growth, leading to a prosperous future. Requirements • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local housing regulations • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent Time Management and Organization Skills
