Position: Salesforce Technical / Solution Architect Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months with possible extension Client: Ave Aviation Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the end-to-end technical and solution architecture for complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations. This role will provide architectural leadership across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations, data migration, security, and DevOps, while working closely with Salesforce Developers, Functional/Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities • Own and define the overall Salesforce solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, enterprise standards, and Salesforce best practices. • Act as the technical authority for Salesforce implementations across multiple PODs. • Design and govern: • Salesforce data models and object relationships • Security model (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules) • Application architecture and customization strategy • Provide architectural oversight for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations. • Lead integration architecture between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and ETL tools. • Define and enforce governor limit strategies, performance optimization techniques, and scalability best practices. • Guide development teams on: • Apex architecture and trigger frameworks • Asynchronous processing (Queueable, Batch Apex) • Lightning Web Components and UI architecture • Review and approve technical designs, code quality, and deployment strategies. • Collaborate with Functional/Business Analysts to validate functional designs and translate them into scalable technical solutions. • Support data migration strategy, including ERP-to-Salesforce migrations, data governance, and reconciliation. • Define DevOps and CI/CD strategy using tools such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRabit, Blue Canvas, or SFDX pipelines. • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and regulatory requirements. • Provide technical leadership during UAT, go-live, and post-production support. Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform, with 5+ years in an Architect or Lead role. • Strong hands-on experience with: • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud • Large, complex, enterprise Salesforce orgs • Deep understanding of: • Salesforce data model and metadata architecture • Order of execution • Governor limits and performance tuning • Extensive experience designing and governing Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware (MuleSoft), and ETL tools. • Strong experience with Apex, Trigger frameworks, LWC architecture, and Salesforce best practices. • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams. • Solid experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models. • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, architects, and executive stakeholders. Additional / Preferred Skills • Experience with AgentForce and Salesforce AI-driven capabilities. • Knowledge or experience with Informatica or similar data integration tools. • Hands-on experience with ERP integrations and large-scale data migrations. • Experience with Git-based source control (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps). • Salesforce DevOps and release management experience using tools such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRabit, or SFDX. • Salesforce certifications preferred: • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA – highly preferred) • Integration Architecture Designer • Data Architecture Designer • Platform Developer II
