Position Summary The Sr. Manager -- Regional Demand Planning is responsible for leading the Regional Demand Planning team to deliver accurate, reliable demand forecasts and optimize inventory asset performance across assigned regions. This role will partner closely with sales teams and distribution centers through the S&OP process while leveraging system-driven forecasting tools. Success in this role will be measured by fill rate, inventory productivity, and the accuracy of demand forecasts. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of Regional Demand Planners, providing guidance, coaching, and development. • Drive demand forecasting efforts using inventory systems, historical data, and S&OP planning with sales and distribution teams. • Measure and manage regional inventory performance, including fill rate and productivity, ensuring alignment with company targets. • Analyze data to identify root causes of forecast errors, service gaps, and productivity challenges; implement corrective actions. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Distribution, Operations, and Inventory Planning teams to ensure forecast alignment and execution. • Monitor and report on regional forecast accuracy, inventory performance metrics, and risks/opportunities. • Contribute to continuous improvement in forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies. • Ensure the team maintains a balance between customer service levels and working capital efficiency. • Perform other duties as assigned.
