Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Global Head of BI and Data to own, design, and deliver enterprise business intelligence and data warehouse capabilities. The role involves leading a small hybrid team, maintaining hands-on technical involvement, and ensuring data governance and analytics architecture. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise BI and data warehouse architecture • Define data modeling standards including dimensional models and semantic layers • Maintain hands-on involvement in SQL development, modeling, and troubleshooting • Lead Power BI reporting strategy including datasets, DAX, security, and governance • Partner with business stakeholders to define metrics and reporting priorities • Lead and coordinate internal and external BI resources • Ensure data governance, security, and documentation standards are enforced • Lead enterprise Master Data Management governance • Define data domains, ownership, and stewardship • Establish data quality and consistency standards • Ensure master data supports operational and analytical use cases • Lead data readiness for AI and advanced analytics initiatives • Ensure data quality, governance, and security for AI use cases • Partner with business and IT leaders to identify practical AI opportunities Skills • 5+ years in BI, data engineering, or analytics roles • Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and cloud data platforms • Experience supporting ERP-driven analytics, ideally Dynamics 365 • Experience leading small teams and managing vendors • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to translate business questions into technical solutions • Strong communication skills • Comfortable operating as both architect and hands-on contributor • Manufacturing or supply-chain analytics experience • Azure Synapse Analytics experience • Financial reporting experience Benefits • Discretionary bonuses • Medical, dental, and vision benefits • 401(k) retirement plan Company Overview • Vaco is the Talent Solutions division of Highspring, a leading global professional services organization.
