About Us: V3ra by H3lix Corp is a healthcare technology startup building the next-generation autonomous patient intake platform. We are eliminating the workflow breakdowns and documentation failures that cost hospitals billions in denied claims every year. We have validated this problem with 100+ hospital CEOs, physicians, and ER directors and are actively deploying our beta with pilot hospitals. We are in our pre-seed stage and moving fast. Role Overview: We are seeking a Full-Stack Integration Engineer (Contract-to-Hire) to lead the build-out of V3ra's frontend and backend infrastructure — including deep integrations with hospital EHR/EMR systems, billing platforms, HL7/FHIR data standards, and the V3ra physical intake device. This role is central to our technical execution and has a clear path to a full-time, equity-eligible position. Core Responsibilities: • Architect and build V3ra's frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js API server) • Design and implement integrations with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) • Build and maintain HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR R4-compliant data exchange pipelines • Integrate V3ra software with the physical intake device (IoT/hardware layer) • Connect platform modules to hospital RCM and billing systems • Set up and maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) • Implement authentication, audit logging, and patient data encryption standards • Collaborate directly with the CEO, AI Lead, and Clinical Ops Lead to align build with real hospital workflows Ideal Candidate Profile: • 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience (React.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL) • Hands-on experience integrating with EHR/EMR platforms (Epic, Cerner, or equivalent) • Strong working knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards • Experience building HIPAA-compliant healthcare platforms • Startup mindset: hands-on builder, fast-moving, outcome-focused Key Skills: React.js · Node.js · PostgreSQL · REST APIs · HL7 / FHIR · EHR Integration · HIPAA-Compliant Architecture · IoT/Hardware-Connected Software · Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Azure) Bonus Skills: • Experience with AWS HealthLake, Azure Healthcare APIs, or Google Cloud Healthcare API • Prior work with hospital billing or RCM platforms • Familiarity with patient intake, triage, or clinical documentation systems • Experience building in regulated healthcare or medical device environments
