Conduct full lifecycle recruiting activities, develop sourcing plans, and act as a recruiting partner to business leadership.
Requires 6+ years of recruiting experience in a high-volume environment, with industry-specific knowledge of Aviation/Aerospace & Defense, and proficiency in sourcing methodologies.
Job Description: • Perform full lifecycle recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination/scheduling, offer negotiation, and closing of candidates. • Create compelling position descriptions and actively market the V2X brand to attract top talent. • Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate management process from identification and engagement to offer extension and closing. • Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market. • Work closely with hiring managers throughout the hiring process and promote effective and efficient hiring practices using consultative skills to influence all levels of internal stakeholders. • Acts as a recruiting partner and a subject matter expert to business leadership, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders, leveraging recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results. • Continually evaluate and apply new sourcing methodologies to actively identify, cultivate, and grow target candidate pools of top talent. • Provide recruiting services in accordance with our recruiting process, standards, and systems, and practice attention to detail and flawless execution throughout the hiring process. • Represent V2X and its values in all interactions with potential internal and external candidates. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • 6+ years of recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced government contracting environment. • Extensive knowledge of Aviation/Aerospace & Defense industry-related jobs such as: Aircraft Mechanics, Avionics, Powerplant, Aircraft Management, Supply, etc. • Extensive knowledge of Aviation/Aerospace & Defense Terminology. • Ability to handle large, diverse requisition loads, often with 20 or more positions. • Ability to create recruiting strategies and cultivate an online presence for the purpose of attracting talent. • Proficiency in using effective sourcing methodologies and developing creative and community-based networking strategies. • Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). • Well-developed assessment, negotiation, collaboration, and consultative skills. • Bias for action, persistent work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.
