Frontend Engineer (React) Location: Offshore Level: Mid-Level / Senior About the Role We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to build modern, scalable web applications using React and TypeScript. You'll create intuitive, responsive user experiences, develop reusable UI components, and help establish frontend best practices across our applications. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building high-quality user interfaces, solving complex UI challenges, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver customer-facing solutions. We operate with an AI-first engineering approach. Engineers are expected to leverage AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, and modern productivity workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and maintainability. ________________________________________ What You'll Do • Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript. • Build reusable components, shared UI patterns, and frontend frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple applications. • Create responsive, accessible, and performant user experiences across desktop and mobile devices. • Develop complex, data-rich interfaces including dashboards, tables, filtering, search, and visualization experiences. • Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs. • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following established engineering standards and best practices. • Optimize application performance, scalability, and usability. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions. • Partner with product, design, QA, and backend teams throughout the software development lifecycle. • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and delivery speed. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience building production web applications with React. • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+). • Experience building reusable UI components and component-based architectures. • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend development practices. • Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs. • Experience with frontend state management and asynchronous data handling. • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and browser rendering fundamentals. • Experience writing unit and component tests using modern testing frameworks. • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility. • Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, coding agents, or similar) as part of daily engineering workflows. • Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional agile teams. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Next.js. • Experience building or contributing to design systems and component libraries. • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or modern frontend styling frameworks. • Experience with frontend performance monitoring and observability tools. • Exposure to cloud-based application development and deployment environments. • Experience working in e-commerce, retail, analytics, or data-intensive applications. ________________________________________ Technology Stack Typical technologies used by our frontend teams include: • React • TypeScript • Next.js • HTML5 / CSS3 • Tailwind CSS • REST and GraphQL APIs • Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright • Git and CI/CD pipelines • AI-assisted development tools and agents Remote Skills: Analysis Skills, Application Programming Interface (API), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Best Practices, CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), Cloud Applications, Code Reviews, Communication Skills, Continuous Deployment/Delivery, Continuous Integration, Cross-Functional, Customer Relations, Debugging Skills, Desktop PC, Documentation, ECMAScript, Git, GitHub, GraphQL, HTML5, Internet Application, JavaScript, Mobile Devices, Performance Analysis, Performance Tuning/Optimization, Problem Solving Skills, Product Design, Productivity Management, Programming Tools, Quality Assurance, REST (Representational State Transfer), React.js, Reporting Dashboards, Scalable System Development, Software Administration, Software Development, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Team Player, Technical/Engineering Design, Unit Test, Usability Engineering, User Interface Design, User Interface/Experience (UI/UX), Web Accessibility, Web Browsers, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Web Production undefined: V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc V-Soft Consulting is on a meteoric rise to become a top 10 IT Services in North America.
