Job Description Program Coordinator - Rehab Administration (80% FTE, DAYS) Harborview Medical Center - REHAB THERAPIES has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Coordinator - Rehab Administration. WORK SCHEDULE 80% FTE; 32 hours per week Day Shift DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine Rehabilitation - Our multidisciplinary team is centered around compassion and innovation. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES This Program Coordinator - Rehab Administration position is an important role within the Rehab Services line, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance across the continuum of care. This position provides essential administrative and coordination support to approximately 200 staff members across multiple workgroups, directly impacting departmental efficiency. This position has many responsibilities but the primary responsibilities include: 1. Daily Data Management for Compliance o Maintains and monitors inpatient rehab data to ensure compliance with missed minutes reporting requirements. o Sends out daily reporting to unit staff to ensure maximum reimbursement. 2. Patient Care Conference Scheduling o Coordinates and schedules required patient care conferences on 4WH, ensuring timely communication and collaboration among interdisciplinary teams. o Facilitates continuity of care for patients and communication within the care teams. 3. Referral Management for Prosthetics and Orthotics Clinic o Contributes to patient referral workflows, ensuring timely referral processing, flag for prior authorization needs and scheduling for specialized services. o Enhances patient access and satisfaction through efficient referral management. 4. Quality Improvement (QI) Data Oversight o Supports QI-related data for both inpatient and outpatient services, chart reviewing, supporting A2E goals and departmental performance metrics. o Provides consistent and accurate data for analysis for leadership supported improvement initiatives. 5. Credentialing and Compliance for Staff o Oversees credentialing, compliance and onboarding requirements for all employee hires, transfers and separations within Rehab Services. o Ensures adherence to organizational and regulatory standards, reducing risk and maintaining operational integrity. REQUIREMENTS High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
