Location: USA Only Job Type: Contractor, Full-time Who we’re looking for : This role is open exclusively to candidates who are physically located in the United States. • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Python development • Strong knowledge of Python fundamentals • Practical experience with Flask or FastAPI • Experience working with SQL databases • Experience or interest in integrating LLMs into backend systems • Familiarity with Docker • Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems • Exposure to unit testing, API testing, and tools like PyLint or Flake8 • Ability to work in Linux and/or Windows environments • B2 or higher level of English • A growth mindset and proactive attitude Nice to Have Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) Familiarity with tools like Jira or Crucible Exposure to cloud platforms or Kubernetes What you’ll do: • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (Flask or FastAPI) • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices (PEP8) • Work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) to design, query, and manage data • Develop unit and integration tests with tools like Pytest • Document APIs using tools such as Swagger or Insomnia • Collaborate with the team via Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) and participate in code reviews • Support CI/CD pipeline setup (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) • Debug and troubleshoot backend systems • Integrate and utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) for enhanced application capabilities • Communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and spoken) We Offer Ownership of technical architecture Work on a product with real social impact 100% remote, flexible schedule Modern stack + freedom to improve it High-trust, collaborative team About the Company: US-based impact-driven tech platform connecting nonprofits and small businesses with skilled volunteers.
