User Research International is seeking a driven and results-oriented New Business Development Manager to lead full-cycle B2B sales initiatives and accelerate revenue growth through strategic lead generation and new client acquisition. This individual will focus on selling our specialized user research consulting services to product leaders, UX teams, and executive stakeholders who prioritize research-informed decisions. Position may be hybrid or remote. Key Responsibilities Identify, engage, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries and accounts. Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure. Develop compelling sales pitches and customized proposals that align with client needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Collaborate with internal research and delivery teams to scope projects accurately. Track market trends and competitive activity to inform sales strategy. Accurately maintain CRM information, track sales activity, and forecast pipeline performance. Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of successful technical sales experience, ideally within consulting, professional services, or UX research-focused industries. Comfortable with prospecting, cold calling, and upselling. Well-organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple accounts, priorities, and follow-ups. Deep understanding of UX research or the software product development life cycle is preferred. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and sales quotas. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable engaging and presenting to senior decision-makers in consultative sales conversations. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Salary and Commission Structure Base Salary: $75,000 - $90,000. This role offers a results-driven, competitive compensation model with strong earning potential. The commission structure includes a tiered, performance-based commission plan that increases with sales milestones and targets achieved.
