This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to guide development teams and influence product innovation. What You'll Do: - You will apply and design technology solutions to solve complex business problems. - You will set the technical direction and architecture standards for software projects. - You will develop technology and product assessments and propose innovative technical solutions. - You will guide and lead design sessions with cross-functional teams. - You will research emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our business needs. - You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical goals. - You will mentor and support development teams to enhance their technical skills and adherence to best practices. - You will oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems to improve performance and scalability. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture or senior software development roles. - Strong expertise in designing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architecture. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the waste management or environmental services industry. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Advanced certifications in cloud architecture or software design.
