Role Overview: As a Software Architect Senior, you will play a critical role in shaping the technological direction of our software products. You will design and implement scalable solutions that address complex business challenges, ensuring our technology stack supports the company’s growth and sustainability goals. What You'll Do: - You will apply and design technology solutions to solve complex business problems. - You will set the technical direction and standards for software development. - You will develop technology and product assessments and propose innovative technical strategies. - You will guide and lead design sessions with cross-functional teams. - You will research emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our business needs. - You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align technology with business objectives. - You will ensure software architecture supports scalability, security, and maintainability. - You will mentor and support development teams to foster technical excellence. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture or senior software engineering roles. - Strong expertise in designing scalable, high-performance software systems. - Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide technical teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the waste management or environmental services industry. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design. - Certifications in cloud technologies or software architecture.
