Technical Support Engineer (Mandarin Speaking) Company: Our client (Global renewable energy company) Location: Elkhart, Indiana, USA (remote with occasional travel required depending on client needs) Employment Type: Full time About the Role Our client is a global renewable energy company specialising in off grid power solutions. They are looking for a Mandarin speaking Technical Support Engineer to support their off grid product portfolio. The role is remote based, with Elkhart, Indiana as the location reference, and occasional travel to customer or partner sites as required. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support for off grid power products including inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and complete off grid systems • Support customers and partners via phone, email, and online channels in both Mandarin and English • Diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and propose effective technical solutions • Support installation troubleshooting and system configuration for off grid applications • Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and sales teams to resolve complex technical issues • Travel to customer or partner sites when required for on site technical support or training • Document technical cases, solutions, and best practices clearly and accurately Required Qualifications • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English • Must have full right to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available • Proven hands on experience with off grid power products or off grid solar systems • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, energy storage, and power electronics • Experience in technical support, field support, or application engineering roles • Ability to work independently in a remote working environment • Willingness to travel occasionally based on client requirements Preferred Qualifications • Technical background in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field • Experience supporting off grid residential or commercial systems • Experience working with North American customers • Familiarity with lithium battery and energy storage solutions What Our Client Offers • Remote based role within the United States • Location reference: Elkhart, Indiana, USA • Competitive salary and benefits package
