Field Application Engineer - Embedded / Microcontrollers / Debugging I'm currently on the lookout for an experienced Field Application Engineer - Embedded / Microcontrollers / Debugging, for an expanding hardware/software company that work extensively with leading clients across semiconductor, automotive and medical. You will be responsible for providing tech support to clients/customers and act as the bridge between customers and the inhouse development teams, supporting sales and also the technical marketing. In addition to this, you will carry out tech training courses and prepare documentations. The position is full time, based in their office in Vancouver Washington but also open to remote in California, Texas or Arizona. Budgets are roughly between $120k-$150k OTE but there may be flexiblity in higher cost locations such as California. For this Field Application Engineer - Embedded / Microcontrollers / Debugging position, I'm interested in speaking to people with the following: • Strong technical/development background in embedded and ideally experience in C/C++ • Knowledge/experience with Microcontrollers, could be PowerPC, ARM etc • Scripting experience with Python or Ruby • Around 5-10+ years would be ideal. • Willing to mainly travel around the West Coast and on some occasions to Europe.
