Job Summary: The position is responsible for supporting Sysco’s inbound supply chain operations by administering freight revenue programs, identifying opportunities to optimize inbound supply flows, and contributing to the negotiation and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives. This role will work closely with Supply Chain Managers, Category Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers are integrated efficiently into Sysco’s North America network. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities: 1 30% Management of Freight Revenue Programs for Sysco’s US Broadline Network, RDCs, and Forward Warehouses. 2 20% Work cross functionally with Corporate & Field Merchandising, Logistics, SCIM, Costing, and other stakeholders to optimize inbound supply flow. 3 20% Collaborate with Sysco’s suppliers to obtain inbound efficiencies and address/resolve escalated concerns timely and effectively 4 15% Support sourcing event negotiations and execution, award to PO 5 15% Systems and Data Management: Responsible for collecting and maintaining supplier information such as freight rates, ship points, and item purchasing attributes such as Vendor Ti/Hi, Net & Gross Weight and Cube. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or four years’ experience in foodservice, wholesale or retail distribution management roles Four years of wholesale, foodservice distribution, or retail distribution experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills Effectively Interacts internally and externally with suppliers, Supply Chain and/or Commercial Analysts, Warehouse Operations, Field Merchandising, Transformation, Change Management and corporate leaders requiring collaboration and negotiation skills to achieve this role’s goals as well as others’. Successful execution in a complex business environment. Requires in-depth knowledge business strategies and the company’s goals, as well as external factors which may impact Supply Chain Performance. Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize numerous projects and meet strict deadlines. Strategic thinking, excellent analytical skills and structured approaches to problem solving.
