Job Description The primary objective of the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager is to lead materials management, planning, and logistics functions to ensure customer requirements are consistently met. This role is accountable for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, including the flow of materials from suppliers through to final delivery of products to customers. Key responsibilities include procurement of goods and services supporting business operations; inventory and production planning; and production control to achieve targeted quality, waste reduction, and optimal inventory levels. The role also manages the storage, movement, and control of raw materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials, as well as the transportation of products from origin to destination. In addition, responsibilities include import/export and customs management. As a leader, the role is expected to foster strong employee engagement by building and maintaining positive working relationships, ensuring teams are motivated and committed to delivering high-quality service to key suppliers and stakeholders. This position also plays a role in coordinating and managing business processes and cross-functional relationships across entities within a multi-company site. Roles and responsibilities · Oversee Logistics & Supply Chain department and employees (~20 FTE utilizing supporting contingent workers); · Supervise purchase of production and/or non-production materials and coordinate suppliers to meet Company’s goals of quality, delivery, and cost; · Work with procurement on applicable supply & service contracts; · Set up raw material and product specifications in SAP as needed with collaboration from Quality Assurance, Operations, and Customer Service; · Planning/Scheduling suppliers/sub-contractors to maintain uninterrupted flow of materials including raw materials, components, sub-components and services from internal, local and overseas suppliers; · Identifying, notifying and managing potential shortages by planning and expediting internally and externally; · Liaising with freight forwarders for all coming materials from oversea suppliers and maintaining in-Transit Report for accurate online information for Customer Service; · Oversee local production scheduling, end of month processing, and inventory/production reporting in collaboration with Operations and Planners; · Managing inventory levels to optimum levels to achieve balance between customer service and working capital (over stock v/s stock outs); · Assume lead role for inventory management data in SOX audits; · Schedule packaging and shipping activities to ensure on-time shipment and delivery; · Partner with delivery services to optimize product warehouse use; · Responsible for Logistics & supply chain services for toller and warehousing activity associated with site · Partner with Quality Manager and ISO lead to ensure we consistently meet customer needs; · Create and optimize relevant budgets; · Review and approve purchase requisitions; · Support management team with all required reporting of data analysis. Prepare reports and presentations with clear and concise communication methods; · Improve systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service for company and customers; · Oversee site partner relationship, communication, and billing in alignment with site operations and contractual agreements; · Any other related tasks as directed.
