Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer III - Nuclear Company Overview: US Tech Solutions, Inc. is a leading provider of engineering and technical services specializing in energy and infrastructure sectors. Role Overview: As a Mechanical Design Engineer III at US Tech Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in supporting mechanical engineering projects at the Brunswick Nuclear Plant in Southport, NC. Your expertise will ensure the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems meet stringent safety and quality standards. What You'll Do: - You will perform detailed mechanical design and engineering analysis for nuclear plant projects. - You will develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements and regulatory compliance. - You will support project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet deadlines. - You will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during project lifecycle. - You will participate in safety reviews and ensure adherence to nuclear industry standards. - You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. - You will assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - You have at least 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the nuclear industry. - You possess strong knowledge of nuclear plant mechanical systems and regulatory requirements. - You are proficient with CAD software and engineering analysis tools. - You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working at or with the Brunswick Nuclear Plant. - Familiarity with ASME codes and nuclear safety standards. - Professional Engineer (PE) license. - Experience with project management and scheduling software.
