Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (EMPL REL/LABOR REL) in the CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT. Duties Help • You will support an HR Specialist in the execution of Human Resources (HR) work for the Installation and assigned customers. • You will explain to management the sequence of actions required in connection with recurring disciplinary problems. • You will assist with providing guidance and support to the workforce with the DoD Performance Management Appraisal Program (DPMAP). • You will provide assistance to employees, supervisors and Team Members in filing claims under the FECA program. • You will gather, reviews, consolidates and prepares required paperwork assuring that all necessary steps have been followed and all supporting documents are present. • You will provide assistance to employees, supervisors and Team Members in filing claims under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA) program. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising management on the sequence of actions required in connection with recurring disciplinary problems; Reviewing submitted Performance Appraisals for compliance; Assisting employees and supervisors with FECA claims and processing.
