Role Overview: As a Lease Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the leasing team by managing lease documentation, coordinating tenant communications, and ensuring smooth lease administration processes. This position is essential for maintaining organized lease records and facilitating effective collaboration between property management and leasing departments. What You'll Do: - You will prepare, review, and manage lease documents and amendments to ensure accuracy and compliance. - You will coordinate lease execution processes, including obtaining necessary signatures and distributing finalized documents. - You will maintain detailed lease files and databases to ensure all lease information is current and accessible. - You will communicate regularly with tenants, brokers, and internal teams to address lease-related inquiries and updates. - You will assist in tracking critical lease dates such as renewals, expirations, and rent escalations. - You will support the leasing team with administrative tasks and reporting as needed. - You will collaborate with property management to ensure lease terms are adhered to and resolve any discrepancies. What You Bring: - You have at least 2 years of experience in lease coordination or a related administrative role within real estate. - You possess strong knowledge of lease documentation and real estate terminology. - You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. - You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - You demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - You are capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in shopping center or retail property management. - Familiarity with lease management software such as Yardi or MRI. - A background in real estate or property management education or certification. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
