Role Overview: As a Lease Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the leasing operations for our shopping center developments. You will be responsible for coordinating lease documentation, maintaining tenant records, and facilitating communication between property management, tenants, and leasing agents to ensure smooth lease administration. What You'll Do: - You will prepare, review, and manage lease documents and amendments to ensure accuracy and compliance. - You will maintain organized lease files and databases, ensuring all tenant information is up to date. - You will coordinate lease execution processes, including obtaining necessary signatures and approvals. - You will assist in tracking lease deadlines, renewals, and critical dates to support property management. - You will communicate effectively with tenants, leasing agents, and internal teams to resolve lease-related inquiries. - You will support the preparation of reports related to leasing activities and occupancy status. - You will collaborate with legal and finance departments to ensure lease terms are properly implemented. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in lease coordination or real estate administration. - Strong knowledge of commercial lease agreements and real estate terminology. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. - Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage tenant and team interactions. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in shopping center or retail property management. - Familiarity with lease management software such as Yardi or MRI. - Basic understanding of real estate finance and accounting principles. - Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to support diverse tenant communications.
