Role Overview: As a Lease Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the leasing team by managing lease documentation, coordinating tenant communications, and ensuring smooth lease administration processes. This position is vital to maintaining strong tenant relationships and supporting the overall success of our shopping center developments. What You'll Do: - You will prepare, review, and manage lease documents and related paperwork accurately and timely. - You will coordinate lease execution processes between tenants, landlords, and legal teams. - You will maintain organized lease files and databases to ensure easy access and compliance. - You will assist in tracking lease deadlines, renewals, and critical dates to support lease management. - You will communicate effectively with tenants to address inquiries and facilitate lease negotiations. - You will collaborate with property management and development teams to support leasing activities. - You will generate reports and summaries related to lease status and tenant occupancy. - You will support special projects and administrative tasks as needed to enhance leasing operations. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in lease coordination, real estate administration, or property management. - Strong knowledge of lease documentation and real estate terminology. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in shopping center or retail property management. - Familiarity with lease management software such as Yardi or MRI. - Basic understanding of real estate law and lease negotiation principles. - Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, to support diverse tenant communications.
