Full Description

As a Project Management Branch Chief, you will provide expert professional and/or technical consulting and services surrounding major, complex programs managed and/or facilitated by Office of Program & Project Management (OPPM). Location of position: GSA - Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX) We are currently filling seven vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. If you have volunteered your service through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps), we encourage you to apply and include this experience on your resume. The GS-14 salary range starts at $125,776 per year. Salary depends on the duty location and associated locality pay. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: • Directing, managing, and providing expert oversight for a diverse portfolio of complex federal projects, including multi-million dollar design and construction activities across business lines. • Supervising or leading project teams through formal or informal authority examples include planning and assigning work, evaluating performance, mentoring staff, resolving conflicts to achieve organizational objectives. • Serving as a technical expert and stakeholder liaison by providing authoritative guidance on project management practices, communicating complex technical information to senior leadership and customer agencies to facilitate successful project delivery.
