USFS was founded in 2010 and provides financial management, acquisition management, program management, and data analytic support services to federal and state governments. US Federal Solutions, a leading management consulting firm, is seeking Acquisition Professionals to support the US Coast Guard. Overview We are seeking an Administrative and Business Management Specialist to support the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF). In this role, you will provide a blend of administrative, financial, and program support that helps the organization operate smoothly. You will work closely with leadership to manage budgets, oversee compliance, coordinate performance processes, and support day-to-day business operations. Key Responsibilities Compile, analyze, and reconcile financial data to support annual budgets, expense tracking, and reporting. Review and process obligating documents, invoices, travel vouchers, and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Maintain accountability for assets and property by updating records in federal inventory systems and coordinating proper disposal. Support the Administrative Officer in developing policies, reports, and business plans that align with USDA and federal requirements. Coordinate performance management processes, including appraisals, quarterly reviews, and compliance with mandatory requirements. Track and manage personnel security documentation, including background investigations and re-investigations. Provide technical and analytical support to leadership for planning, reporting, and decision-making. Draft, edit, and prepare reports, correspondence, and other communications for management and stakeholders. Work Schedule, Location, and Travel: Onsite Normal office hours are 07:30 to 17:00 Monday through Friday. Security Clearance: US Citizenship. Public Trust Preferred Qualifications Required: 1 to 3 years of administrative support experience. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with budgeting, accounting, or financial data analysis. Ability to handle confidential information and ensure compliance with federal standards. Attention to detail and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Preferred: Experience supporting federal programs or contracts. Knowledge of government performance management, personnel security, or property management processes. Background in bookkeeping, billing, or general accounting.
