Job Description U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer (multiple positions) in Hopkins, MN Essential Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services. Build system integration components. Build REST-based microservices using Java 8, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Implement messaging and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, webhooks, and Spring Cloud Stream. Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance solutions. Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and deliver end-to-end solutions. Apply DevOps principles for CI/CD and containerized deployments using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Lead technical efforts, provide guidance on design and integration best practices, and mentor junior engineers. Basic Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer applications and 5 years in a Software Engineer, Manager-Projects; Product Consultant-Technical; Product Architect, or related occupation. Required Skills/Experience: Must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, J2EE, Spring, REST, AWS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, Kafka, Cloud platform experience-Rancher, Microsoft Azure. Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $145,018 - $155,000.
