Role Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Representative II, you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third-party payers, including both government and commercial entities. This position is remote, offering flexibility while contributing to the financial health of the organization. What You'll Do: - You will manage and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely collection. - You will communicate effectively with third-party payers to resolve billing issues and discrepancies. - You will review and analyze account information to identify and address payment delays. - You will maintain accurate records of all collection activities and account statuses. - You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex billing and payment issues. - You will ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - You will provide regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection progress. - You will assist in process improvements to enhance collection efficiency. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or medical billing. - Strong knowledge of third-party payer processes, including government and commercial insurance. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management. - Familiarity with anesthesia billing or related medical specialties. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance. - Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
