Role Overview: The Accounts Receivable Representative II plays a critical role in managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third-party payers, including both government and commercial entities. This position ensures timely payment and accurate account reconciliation to support the company’s financial health. What You'll Do: - You will manage and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable from third-party payers. - You will communicate effectively with government and commercial payers to resolve payment issues. - You will review and analyze account discrepancies and work to resolve billing disputes. - You will maintain accurate records of all collection activities and account statuses. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and billing compliance. - You will prepare reports on accounts receivable status and collection efforts. - You will assist in identifying process improvements to enhance collection efficiency. - You will ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. What You Bring: - You have at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or medical billing. - You possess strong knowledge of third-party payer processes, including government and commercial insurance. - You have excellent communication and negotiation skills. - You are proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications. - You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - You have the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with anesthesia or healthcare-related billing. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance. - Prior experience working remotely in a similar role. - Certification in medical billing or coding.
