Role Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Representative II, you will play a critical role in managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third-party payers, including both government and commercial entities. This position is remote, offering flexibility while ensuring timely and accurate payment processing to support the company’s financial health. What You'll Do: - You will manage and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable from third-party payers. - You will communicate effectively with government and commercial payers to resolve payment issues. - You will review and analyze account discrepancies and work to resolve billing disputes. - You will maintain accurate records of all collection activities and payment statuses. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and billing compliance. - You will prepare reports on accounts receivable status and trends for management review. - You will stay updated on payer policies and regulations to ensure compliance. - You will assist in process improvements to enhance collection efficiency. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or medical billing. - Strong knowledge of third-party payer processes, including government and commercial payers. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management. - Familiarity with anesthesia billing or healthcare services. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance. - Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
