Full Description

The part-time Administrative Assistant I provides essential administrative support to the Development Office, advancing Urshan's donor relations and fundraising efforts. This role works closely with the Director of Development to handle day-to-day office operations, donor communications, and record management. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to supporting the mission of Urshan. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide daily administrative support for the Director of Development and the Development Office. • Prepare and process donor acknowledgment letters, thank-you notes, and "in-kind" gift receipts. • Coordinate the creation and mailing of monthly donor letters and scholarship communications. • Maintain accurate donor records and support data entry within the donor management system. • Organize and update scholarships, endowments, and donor giving information. • Assist with special mailings and events (such as Apostolic Legends and Scholarship recognition at Graduation). • Manage general office tasks including filing, copying, scanning, scheduling, and preparing materials. Please note: The responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and may evolve. The Administrative Assistant I may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission and objectives of the Development Office. • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. • 3-5 years of experience in office administration, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit environment. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with donors, staff, and peers. • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to learn and adapt to the changing needs of the office. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office technology.
