Full Description

Step into a true #2 leadership role in federal contracting—remote, high trust, real ownership. Role Snapshot • Role: Associate Director, Contracts, Procurement, and Pricing • Location/Type: Remote (U.S.) • Travel a few times per quarter • Pay: $165,000–$180,000 base • $200,000–$220,000 OTE • Schedule: Full-time • Team: GovCon advisory services This is a deputy role with teeth. You’ll partner directly with the Director to run and scale a critical service line. You’ll lead clients, coach managers, and help future-proof the function as the business grows and shifts toward firm fixed price delivery. What you’ll do • Act as #2 to the Director across contracts, pricing, and procurement • Lead complex client engagements across multiple GovCon clients • Serve as senior escalation point for contract strategy and execution • Translate FAR-driven requirements into practical, client-ready solutions • Drive process improvement tied to pricing and FFP delivery • Build forecasts and inputs for staffing and revenue planning • Coach and develop managers and senior consultants • Review high-risk deliverables before they go to clients Must-haves • Deep experience in government contracts (services-heavy) • Strong FAR, contract types, and compliance knowledge • Consulting or multi-client delivery background • Experience advising small to mid-sized GovCons • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities • Executive presence with clients and internal leadership Nice to have • Pricing exposure beyond T&M models • Experience supporting FFP transitions • Background in outsourced contracts or advisory firms Perks & pay • Pay: $165,000–$180,000 base • $200,000–$220,000 OTE • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) • Paid time off Schedule & setup • Remote-first role within U.S. time zones • Travel a few times per quarter for clients or leadership meetings • Direct reports added after onboarding • Work closely with CEO, CFO, and service line leadership Impact & growth Your work reduces key-person risk and creates operating leverage. You’ll help shape how a fast-growing GovCon advisory firm delivers work at scale. This role is built for someone ready to step into larger leadership over time. You like pace and ownership. You don’t need perfect structure to move fast. At Urrly, fairness matters. We use AI to review every application against the same clear requirements for the role. This means every candidate is evaluated on job-related factors like skills, certifications, and experience—not on personal attributes such as gender, race, age, or background. Our goal is to create a more objective, consistent, and equal opportunity hiring process for all applicants. Apply Today to step into a true deputy leadership role with real upside and trust from day one
