Summary We are seeking a Phlebotomist with front office skills to join our team at URPrecious Imaging. In this role, you will support our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care while assisting with various clinical tasks related to breast imaging and diagnostics. Responsibilities • Placing an IV line access for administering contrast for mammography exams. • Warmly greet and check in all patients and visitors, in person and by phone, and direct them to mammography, ultrasound, biopsy, or consultation areas as appropriate. • Verify identity, collect and update demographics, contact information, primary care/referring providers, and breast-related clinical intake information when required. • Provide basic information about services, preparation instructions (e.g., for mammograms or procedures), parking, and wayfinding, and escalate clinical questions to technologists or nurses. • Help support emotionally distressed or anxious patients by maintaining a calm, respectful, and private atmosphere in the waiting area. • Answer and route phone calls, messages, and electronic inquiries (e.g., results calls routed to clinical staff, scheduling requests, record requests) using proper telephone etiquette. • Prepare, assemble, and scan charts and forms; handle faxing, copying, and filing of breast imaging records and requisitions according to retention and privacy policies. • Assist with reminders and outreach for due or overdue screening mammograms and follow-up imaging when the center uses recall systems. Requirements • Proven experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical setting. • Willing to perform front office receptionist tasks. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to breast health and imaging. • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction. • Ability to work in an outpatient clinic environment with attention to detail.
