Operations Manager - Pilates Studio Location: 13448 Beach Ave, Unit 1, Marina Del Rey, 90292 Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $55,000-$70,000 DOE + performance-based bonuses + studio perks Reports to: Studio Owner/Director About Us At BASI Pilates Marina Del Rey, we're more than just a Pilates studio - we're a vibrant, welcoming community rooted in mindful movement, client care, and quality instruction. With 7 state-of-the-art reformers and a passionate team of instructors and front desk staff, we're on a mission to make every class an exceptional experience. We're looking for a driven, organized, and people-focused Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day studio operations. Role Overview The Operations Manager ensures the studio runs efficiently and smoothly, creating a seamless experience for both clients and staff. You'll be the go-to person for managing schedules, supporting staff, handling client needs, and keeping everything on track - from inventory to instructor subs. Key Responsibilities Studio Operations Oversee daily operations, including studio opening/closing procedures Maintain studio cleanliness, supplies, and equipment upkeep Manage class schedule, instructor coverage, and booking software (e.g., Mindbody, Bookee) Staff Management Schedule and supervise 2 front desk team members Support instructor team (sub coordination, communication, team meetings) Onboard, train, and develop staff in collaboration with the owner Client Experience Resolve client concerns with empathy and efficiency Oversee intro offer performance and client retention workflows Ensure a consistent, high-quality front desk and studio experienceSales & Business Support Track and report on membership sales, renewals, and intro offer conversions Support marketing campaigns and community events Manage retail inventory and merchandise restocking Financial & Admin Support Assist with payroll input and staff hours tracking Monitor studio KPIs (attendance, revenue, retention) Communicate studio needs and insights to ownership regularly What We're Looking For 2+ years of operations, studio management, or team leadership experience (fitness/wellness background preferred) Excellent communication and organizational skills Friendly, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset Familiarity with Mindbody, Bookee, Mariana Tek, or similar CRM platforms Passion for wellness, Pilates, and team-building Perks Unlimited studio classes Team discounts on retail Paid time off Monthly performance bonuses based on studio growth goals To Apply Send your resume and a short note about why you're passionate about this role to: info@basipilatesmarina.com
