We’re looking for an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our growing Integrations & Automations team at ŌURA. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into well-scoped technical solutions, and build reliable, scalable integrations and automations using our iPaaS platform, Workato. You will play a hands-on role in optimizing business workflows, enabling seamless data flow across our cloud SaaS ecosystem, and improving operational efficiency through thoughtful automation. This is a senior individual contributor role, focused on execution, technical problem-solving, and development. Success in this role requires strong Workato expertise, a pragmatic approach to solution design, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners. What you will do: Drive the design, development, and implementation of integration and automation solutions using Workato, connecting ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other cloud-based systems. Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into well-scoped technical solutions, and turn concepts into reliable production-ready integrations. Collaborate with and help coordinate work delivered by external development partners, while also building and maintaining key in-house integrations. Maintain and enhance existing integration workflows to ensure data integrity, security, scalability, and performance. Manage integration work in Jira, and create and maintain clear technical and project documentation in Confluence. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to business analysts and engineers, promoting platform best practices. Stay current on integration technologies and best practices Ensure compliance by following data security and privacy by guidelines. This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in New York, Boston, or other Eastern time zone location. We would love to consider you for this role if you have: 6-10 years professional experience with a focus on engineering, automation, api’s and cloud solutions. 3+ years of experience with the Workato platform, including building complex workflows and automations. Expertise in system integrations (iPaaS, APIs, or direct point-to-point), with a focus on API-driven business process automation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent on-the-job experience. Attention to detail, strong problem solving abilities, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, take initiative, and work independently. Ability to work across global operation time zones. Nice to Have: Workato certifications (I, II, III) Previous experience in solution architecture roles. Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and S3. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions.
