Translate UI concepts into complete screen designs, iterate based on feedback, and prepare assets for engineering.
Experience with UI design, familiarity with Figma, and ability to work under direction in a collaborative environment.
Overview We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to act as a production partner to a senior UI advisor who is already shaping the overall UI vision for the game. This role is execution-first, design direction to a secondary extent. You will take concepts, direction, and design feedback from the senior advisor and turn them into clear, usable, engineering-ready UI assets. This is not a role for someone looking to wholly own UI vision or redefine style. It is a role for someone who excels at turning direction into shippable screens and working within a mandate with a great deal of feedback/direction. What You’ll Be Doing You will: -Translate UI concepts, wireframes, or Figma files into complete screen designs -Iterate quickly based on senior UI advisor feedback -Prepare UI assets and layouts so engineering can implement without guesswork -Maintain consistency across screens as systems expand -Think in terms of states, flows, edge cases, and reuse You will not be asked to solely invent the visual identity of the UI from scratch, but you will be able to take direction from our Senior UI/UX Design Advisor and work on screens/content based on his parameters.. Primary Responsibilities -Screen layout and flow implementation -UI hierarchy, spacing, and readability (mobile-first) Preparing: -Figma files -Export-ready assets -Clear layout specs / annotations for engineers -Collaborating closely with: -Senior UI advisor (direction & review) -Engineering team (handoff & clarification) Ideal Background We’re looking for someone who: -Has shipped game UI (mobile preferred) -Is comfortable executing under direction -Understands how engineers actually consume UI files -Is organized, responsive, and iteration-friendly -Can work independently without constant supervision Experience with: -Mobile game UI -Unreal Engine UI pipelines (UMG, common UI patterns) -Systems-heavy games (menus, progression, inventories, meta layers) What This Role Is NOT This role is not: -A UI art director role -A “vision-only” UX strategist role -A branding or marketing design role -A web or SaaS UI role If your primary experience is web dashboards, SaaS flows, or marketing sites, this is likely not a fit.
