Full Description

We’re looking for a Remote Software Engineer who can help us scale and improve our platform. You’ll work closely with our core team to enhance features, build new components, and ensure smooth performance across our growing user base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, is comfortable taking ownership, and enjoys solving complex problems with clean, scalable code. Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and improve Skyfarer’s web platform Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React, Redux, and React Router - Implement and manage form handling with Final Form - Work on backend services using Node.js and Express - Collaborate on database design, integrations, and APIs - Deploy and maintain services on AWS and Render - Customize and extend our marketplace foundation built on Sharetribe - Collaborate with the engineering and product team to define priorities and ship quickly Required Skills & Experience: - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and React - Experience with Redux and React Router for state management and routing - Familiarity with Final Form or similar form libraries - Solid backend experience with Node.js and Express - Experience deploying and managing apps on AWS and Render - Knowledge of Sharetribe or marketplace platforms (preferred but not required—willing to learn is fine) - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment How to Apply: Send your resume, GitHub and/or portfolio, and a note about your experience
